Karpathos is one of the best islands in Greece, where one can enjoy unique Greek cuisine, fresh fish and authentic local recipes.

On the island there are many family taverns, which serve delicious Greek dishes prepared with fresh fish, straight from the fishing boat and fresh vegetables from the garden.

The food is always attentive and of excellent quality, the portions are generous, the recipes are transmitted from mother to daughter and all this is offered at very good prices.

So, cabbage rolls, stuffed zucchini, shoes, braised goat, fish tile, carpathian shrimp and of course, pasta with seafood, are some of the traditional dishes that the traveler can taste.

Of course, there are also the most “sniffed” shops, with traditional recipes adapted to more European tastes.

Finally, a wide variety of handmade, freshly baked bread is served everywhere.
